# Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Exify (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

## 1. Use of the App

The App lets you view, edit, and remove metadata (such as location, date/time, camera, and device information) embedded in your photos and videos. You may use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

## 2. Your Content

You retain full ownership of any photos, videos, and metadata you access or modify using the App. We do not claim any rights to your content, and as described in our [Privacy Policy](PRIVACY_POLICY.md), the App does not collect or transmit your content to us.

You are solely responsible for the photos and videos you choose to edit, export, or share using the App, and for complying with any applicable laws when doing so.

## 3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App may offer optional features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases through Apple's App Store. All purchases are billed and processed by Apple according to Apple's terms and your App Store account settings. Subscriptions, where offered, will auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or canceled in your device's App Store account settings.

## 4. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that metadata will be removed or edited in a way that meets every requirement of every third-party platform or service.

## 5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, photos, or videos, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

## 6. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App, and may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

## 7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for any user who violates these Terms.

## 8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable local law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
